17, 2011. She can never be replaced, and will live forever in our hearts.

Domino Jellicle (DJ) is
a little black and white female kitty that was inhabiting a workshop / storage building at
the back of our property. She was born May 1, 2000 . . . the offspring (as
far as can be determined) of a grey and white
female and a solid black BIG male cat with bright green eyes . . . and became more and
more friendly until DJ decided to make friends on Oct. 28, 2000 and brought her inside.
Misty was not too crazy about a new kitty in the house, but they finally
came to an understanding before Misty went to that Great Catnip Patch in the
sky. |
And right after their baths...........Domino and Misty:
Misty: "I'm telling ya, Domino, Copernicus was WRONG.... The world revolves
around US."
You would never see a cat chasing a car, although the weiner-dog must think it's his.

Jellicle Cats come one come all:
The Jellicle Moon is shining bright--
Jellicles come to the Jellicle Ball.
Jellicle Cats are black and
white,
Jellicle Cats are rather small;
Jellicle Cats are merry and bright,
And pleasant to hear when they caterwaul
Jellicle Cats have cheerful faces,
Jellicle Cats have bright black eyes;
They like to practice their airs and graces
And wait for the Jellicle Moon to rise.

Cat Prayer
Now I lay me down to sleep,
I pray this cushy life to keep.
I pray for toys that look like mice,
And sofa cushions, soft and nice.
I pray for gourmet kitty snacks,
And someone nice to scratch my back,
For windowsills all warm and bright,
For shadows to explore at night.
I pray I'll always stay real cool
And keep the secret feline rule
To never tell a human that
The world is really ruled by cats!
A Kitten's Prayer
Now I lay me down to sleep,
The king-size bed is soft and deep..
I sleep right in the center groove
My human cannot hardly move!
I've trapped her legs, she's tucked in tight
And here is where I pass the night
No one disturbs me or dares intrude
Till morning comes and "I want food!"
I sneak up slowly to begin
my nibbles on my human's chin.
She wakes up quickly,
I have sharp teeth
And my claws I will unsheath
For the morning here
and it's time to play
always seem to get my way.
So thank you Lord for giving me
This human person that I see.
The one who hugs me and holds me tight
And sacrifices her bed at night
