General Information
|
The Institute is a nonpartisan and autonomous organization that
derives its financial support from its members and friends.
|
We invite you to join today, to support and participate in
humanities education in central Texas. By joining, you have the
opportunity to meet other institute members - community leaders seeking
ways to actively shape the quality of life in central Texas.
|
Membership in the Institute is essential to attend the spring and
fall seminars, lectures, trips and other special events (the Harry A.
Wilmer III Memorial Lectureship and the Harry A. Wilmer II Lectures are
open to the public). Members receive advance notice and priority
registration for the public lectures.
|
Membership dues are very important to the funding of the Institute's
on-going operations. Event fees are required to fund the event costs.
The Institute also actively seeks philanthropic contributions and grants
to keep membership dues and event fees reasonable.
