The  Roaring 20's had their moments in computer history. 

The need for better calculating and communication devices was

growing, so scientific and entrepreneurial minds were trying to come up with the answers.

1921 Radio Shack opened its first store in Boston.radtwirl

1924 The Computing-Tabulating-Recording Co. changed its name to
          International Business Machines (IBM).

1925 Vannevar Bush created the differential analyzer, a large scale analog
          calculator that can do many kinds of scientific computations

1927 The television is publicly demonstrated at Bell Telephone Laboratories.

1929  Sales of radio sets reach $900 million, up from $60 million in 1922.old radio
