Thanks for responding, I ran across the info about Annis and Joel in the Compendium. Unfortunatly it stopped at Ferdinand B. Cowan. I got in touch with Jim Williams, who maintains the site, and that is all the info he had recieved. He did not remember who sent it, so I was hoping to find someone who had info on Ferdinand B's children. Ferdinand Cornelius Cowan was my Ggrandfather and I don't know who his parents were. Ferdinand B. seemed a likly possibility, and someone eles had e-mailed me that Ferdinand B. had an older brother named Cornelius Cowan. I think I'm on the right track, but I just need the proof.
