Ephraim "Eph" Inman

Well, I still don't know where he fits in my line, but I have some new information on Ephraim "Eph" Inman.
He was involved in the trial for D.C. Stephenson (Grand Dragon of the Indiana KKK), but he wasn't the lawyer who prosecuted Stephenson. Eph Inman was Stephenson's lawyer!
The trial was in 1924 and was held in Hamilton County, I think. He had made himself a well-known lawyer in Indianapolis. He also defended two boys who committed murder in Bloomfield, IN.
The boys had admitted guilt on a some new sound recorder (new at the time, that is), and it was allowed into the trial. Inman still said they weren't guilty and convinced the jury of that and they were found "not guilty."
My grandmother said she thinks he was from Newberry, IN or around those parts. If anyone knows anything about Eph Inman, I would appreciate it very much!
