I was unsure who to put where but hope I have it correctly inserted. I only have bit of info about Mary Minerva Inman's husband, Rev. Robert Martin Loftis: He was pastor of the First Baptist Church in Walnut Cove, N.C. and the first pastor of a church in Flat Rock. I have been unable to locate Mary Minerva Inman's parents, siblings, or other kinfolk, and know only that she had my grandmother Mittie, Stella, Bob (which is probably Robert), and Houston. I thought perhaps she had another sister, but I only met Stella and her husband (Reuben Wall b. 04 Apr 1889 d. Apr 1966 Winston-Salem, N.C.) I would appreciate any information of or leading to my great grandmother's family. I understand from a Loftis family member that Mary Inman Loftis and her husband are buried in Mt. Airy, N.C., Salem Methodist Church, as well as his parents.

    Martha Alexander Inman's father was Jeremiah Alexander- a Revolutionary War veteran who came to Morgan Co., AL in 1819. According to Rev. War pension application records, he was born 4 July 1763 in MD. He died 26 Jan. 1847 in Walker Co., AL. Five children are listed on the Rev. War pension application documents: Lutitia, Esther, John, Martha, and Abigail. Lutitia married Martin O'Rear; Esther married Adam K. Stephenson; Abigail married James Randolph.
    The children of John Henry Rolfe and Sarah Jane Inman are: Rosa b. July, 1872; Philip Robert Raymond b. 3 Sept. 1873; Jessie Eugenia b. 29 Nov. 1875; Lena May b. 5 Feb. 1877; Mattie Lou Dora b. Sept. 1878; Mary Emma b. 19 April 1883; Charles Nelson b. 5 August 1885.
