They were married in Williamson Co., TN 12/24/1841
I was told that John Inman and Sarah Kerby were her parents and that

April 24, 1857. She was born October 20, 1834 in Barnard Vermont and died

According to the 1900 Census of Adams Co., she stated her father was born
in Vermont, her mother in Mass.

received a grant of 400 acres in Edgecombe Co., NC. in 1749. Many of his

Sherman m. probably in Yell Co., AR and moved to TX; Martha m. 1844 Yell
Co., AR John McLaughlin and is said to have died at an early age; Francis
Marion moved to TX and married there after CW; William's whereabouts is
unknown. m.(2) 1843 Cape Girardeau Co., MO Katsy Shelton and moved to
Yell Co., AR where all children were born and Katsy died 1851 shortly after
daughter Susan's birth. Anthony returned to the newly formed Bollinger Co.
Mo with the children and farmed them out among their Shelton relatives
where they all attained adulthood. Seven Ch: Germima b. 1844 m. Henderson
Quinn Collins as his 2nd or 3rd wife and died shortly thereafter; Elvira b.
15 Aug 1845 m. David Abernathy; Alonzo b.1846 m. 1867 Martha Jane Francis,
but was a widower on 1880 census with apparently no issue; Elijah b.1847-8
was in home of William and Germima Shelton Eaker on 1860 census but not
found later (one of these sons served time in prison and after his release
was never heard from again); Christina b.24 Apr 1848 m. Caleb J. Myers (my
grgrandparents); Sarah b.ca1850 m. 1870 william Talbolt Rainboldt (Rambo);
Susan b.12 Apr 1851 m. Emanuel Mouser as his 2nd wife.
Anthony remained in Bollinger Co., MO until after the 1860 census and then
returned to Yell co., AR where he remarried and had another son, John -
possibly the John b. 1862.

Ezekiel married Sally Sanders. She died young and left him with 6 kids.
He went to Illinois and left his children with friends and relatives.
John William Inman (Inmon) was born in Hardin Co, Ky April 1823 or 1828.
He had a twin brother James. He served during the Mexican War and the
Civil War. He purchased land in Stone Co, Missouri. John
married Jane Payne in 1855, they had 6 children. Three lived to
adulthood, Henry, Martha and William.
We don't know if our connection is thru John William or his twin
brother, James. Any help is appreciated.

All the data given here is taken from Wills, Deeds, Census, Church
records, cemeteries, Family Bibles, probate, Civil War pension data.
There is nobody on my Inman line that is not verifiable.
Several researchers have added Ezekiel or John Ezekiel for Williams
father, but I have seen no evidence, more that, "It could have been
because he lived at the same time and only 2 or 3 counties away.
I would be delighted to add a father to William as well as a maiden name
for William's beloved Susannah, but with evidence. Not just
because they lived in the same state at the same time.

It appears from the records that Stephen Inman of Cumberland RI died in

Caroline Duncan. She died 1892 and he may have remarried. Looking for
David Sr. parents. Alfred left notes listing Gehew, Ira. Charles, Louis
and his self. States Gehew died about 1725. Were these his ancestors?

I have a fairly thorough family history about these Inman ancestors back to
Ezekiel Inman Sr. born about 1727 in Frederick county, Maryland.
Information on this early Ezekiel is vague and needs further study as well
as his link to England. I will gladly share any information I have or pass
folks on to other researchers who know more than I do. It would be great
to receive proof of this Inman line when they crossed the pond. This is a
