VANISHING TEXAS
RIVER CRUISE

We took three vans to Lake Buccannon to take a two and one half hour cruise aboard the Texas Eagle on the Colorado River hoping to see some eagles. The Texas Eagle is a 70-foot long, 150 passenger, 3-deck excursion vessel.

We saw scenic wilderness in the historic Colorado River Canyon and enjoyed the natural beauty of this picturesque river as we cruised past a spectacular waterfall (seen to the left) and sheer cliffs viewing wildlife including goats and lots of birds including seagulls, comorants and pelicans, but, unfortunately, no eagles.
