The book,  Myths & Realities of American Slavery, The True History of Slavery in America which was published in November 2002 went out of print after the author's appearances on C-Span's Book TV.  The author only has a handful of hard bound copies left for sale.  The book went into its second printing, in in a soft bound version, in September 2003.  A third printing was completed in January 2004 by the publisher, Burd Street Press of Shippensburg, Pennsylvania. 

 

This critically acclaimed book provides the reader with the true history of slavery in America .  It was written by  John C. Perry  who spent over three years researching American slavery.  The author has produced a comprehensive one volume study of American slavery. The book presents a view of slavery that is devoid of political correctness and is based entirely on historical facts.
