Fourteen (14) years experience in Telecommunications and Voice / Data Networking. Qualification and experience include supervising large groups of people.  Managing an integration lab and its resources, switching systems, a computer upgrade facility, and many diverse operations and projects.  Manage network resources.  Disseminate network orders between systems.  Develop and conduct training for groups and individuals.  Develop and approve Methods of Procedures. Compile and analyze system network reports. Investigate and make decisions based on the investigation on new hardware and software required to enhance networks. Integrate new hardware and software into networks. Provision, test, diagnose, and accept OCx, T3/E3, and T1/E1 circuits. Provide technical system information. Analyze, monitor and repair network functions using diagnostic test equipment and software such as; Network Analyzers, fiber optic, coax and twisted pair cable testers, Cisco WAN Manager and Works 2000, Network Associates SnifferPro, and HP Openview. Design, develop, and maintain Web sites. Utilize software to perform daily tasks such as Unix (Solaris, HP-UX, RTR, Non-Stop), Linux, Windows NT/2000, Windows 98, MS Office 2000, Network applications, schematic design software, electronic circuit simulation software, and computer and communications diagnostic software.

2000 – Present, System Integration Engineer / Lab Manager

  • Lead engineer on several key projects including the successful integration of one of the first CDMA 3G1X systems.

  • Recognized by Senior Management for outstanding customer service and support.

  • Designed and supervised the construction of an advanced technology center capable of providing customer demonstrations of emerging communications systems and applications.

  • Designed and built a state of the art integration lab.

1998 - 2000, Senior Switch Technician / Operations Analyst

  • Recognized and awarded an "Impact Award" for outstanding performance during the 4th quarter 1999.

  • Recognized and awarded the "Excellence in Action" award for outstanding performance during the 1st quarter 1999

  • Installed, provisioned and tested a prototype CDMA Circuit-Mode Data Modem (IWF).

  • Recognized and awarded the "Excellence in Action" award for outstanding performance during the 3rd quarter 1998.

  • Recognized by Director of North Texas MTA for exceptional accomplishments during "Rolling Thunder" the largest wireless equipment change out in the history of the wireless industry.

1994 - 1998, Information Technology Supervisor / Network Administrator

  • Successfully managed and supervised a changing group of 14 personnel.

  • Awarded Meritorious Service Medal for designing, implementing and managing a computer upgrade and repair facility that supported greater than 30,000 computers; saved U.S. Army more than $800,000 in computer upgrade expenses.

  • Awarded an Army Commendation Medal for designing and maintaining a support WEB site and providing superior customer support.

  • Completed over 800 computer upgrades during this period.

  • Personally built a computer-based training classroom that was used by units throughout Fort Hood, TX.
