Someone Cares!

Up

The response to this website has been overwhelming to say the least.  I want to thank everyone who has sent their comments and kind words.  It means a lot to me.   I wish I could include all the responses I have received.  But, there just isn't enough time.  Thank-you from the bottom of my heart everyone.  Your letters and sentiments have touched me deeply.  More than words can express.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16

God bless you Bill and your children.  Your story and dedication to children
touched my heart deeply.  This world (especially the world of special needs
children)is a brighter and safer place to be because of your passion.  I have
2 sons, [name withheld] 12 is autistic and [name withheld] 11 has CAPD (central auditory
processing disorder).  Both of these boys were custom made by God for me to
love and teach.  I thank Him everyday for choosing me to be their Mom.  My
boys are definite proof He knows exactly what He is doing.  More proof is
the road he has put you on and how you have accepted your purpose so
graciously.
Give a kiss to your boys from someone who cares. I will pray that some
people in your life who just do not "GET IT", will open their hearts and
hear your words.

Sincerely yours,
[name withheld]

P.S. While I am typing this I am listening to your music from your website
and feel so relaxed and inspired to hug my boys even tighter to my heart.

Hello Bill,
My prayers will always include you and your family. I
applaud you for your convictions, and boundless love of
children.

Adios, [Name withheld]

Bill, I am speechless.  Thank you so much for sharing.  I will be adding you
to my list of heroes, to say the least!

My son was just looking at the comparative pictures of Preston and thought he was seeing two different children.  He said, Does that boy have CP also? thinking the second pic was a different child!!  That is how incredible the difference is.  You have done well My Friend!

[Name withheld]

Amazing website! I just got done going through most of it. It is fantastic.

Your boys are just so gorgeous! They look like they are very happy.

You amaze me.

Your web site is great.  I am one that also believes that change can only
take place when people speak out and informs others about the injustices that
exists.  Your little guys are lucky to have  someone who loves them.  It
show in their faces.

Bill. I read your website. I'm glad that
you got your boys back! I'm so sorry your family went
through that, I look forward to reading the whole
story when it is posted.

[Name withheld]

Bill,

I just want to say congratulations on a hard fought battle!  It sounds like
your family has really gone through the wringer.  It is horrible to realize
that children are in our foster care system being treated as your children
were, and even worse!  It breaks my heart.  My husband and I have actually
thought about becoming foster parents.  We've discussed it at length
actually.  I admire your strength, courage, and the love you have for your
children!  BTW, they are both beautiful.

Good luck on your continuing journey, and with your book.  Can't wait to
read it!  :-)

Warmest Regards,

Hey, Will,

I just finished going through your photos and some of the evidence. Handsome lads, handsome dad. The evidence is always overwhelming, isn't it? They lie with impunity, and forget the consequences to our suffering children. Take care. You did a good job on your site.     [Name withheld]

[From a teacher]

Bill

I haven't had to deal with CPS but have heard so many horror stories about
what could happen.  When I taught public school, we had an inservice just
about our responsibilities as teachers of reporting child abuse if we
suspected it.  We could end up in jail if we didn't report it to the proper
chain of command.

On the money issue, my child was nothing but extra money for the school
district.  They fought me constantly about services because they believed he
could never improve.   I left the  the public school system over three years
ago as a teacher and brought my son home.  Today, he is a different young
man.  Not perfect but doing more than the school ever believed he could
achieve.

But I have also been able to develop  a homeschool for others.  Our Lord
opened the doors for this to happen and I now work with around 40 kids and
still have calls.  Most of my students have learning disabilities.

So when I read your story, it just made me realize that when we listen to our
hearts and follow the path that God lays before us, we can make differences
in one life or many.  We do have to put ourselves out there to fight for what
is right sometimes, but we are never alone.

Give your guys a hug from me.  They look so precious.  I know that I would
not take anything for my two even with their problems (my oldest is moderately
autistic and my youngest is Extremely ADHD).

And it takes someone special to answer that call! God bless you, Brother Bill! What a special purpose you have, indeed.

Bill,

Your website touched my heart.  Thank you for your amazing love of God and children.  These boys, Preston and Willie, are the luckiest boys around.  We are just that much more fortunate that you have taken the time to share your trials and triumphs with us.

The site is so informational yet so touching.  It really makes me want to reach out and touch you for the love that you have.  Thank you for opening our eyes and hearts.  If this site does not encourage us to go forward with the mission of children then what will?

I hope and pray that your website touches the hearts and souls of people everywhere.  Keep up the good works and may God continue to bless you and your family.

[Name withheld]

Bill,

Our God is an Awesome God!  I spent an hour sitting here reading every tid-bit of information on your site.  Smiling and crying through the entire site.  You are such an amazing man and proof that God does create us each with a special purpose.

The time that you spent going through this ordeal has definitely made you a stronger person and the bond between you and the boys even stronger.

I know with all my heart that Preston and Willie are in the best place they can be.  You are a person who has truly been touched by God's own hand.

[Name withheld]

Bill,

I've been reading this and haven't had anything material to add, just sort
of 'three cheers for you'.  I don't have anything to say
except just that obviously you're doing something few people would or
could, and keep it up.  I wanted to say at least that much.

[Name withheld]

Dear Bill,

I just finished reading your story and I can't stop crying.  It is all so sad.  I will keep you and your boy's in my prayers.  It is horrible that you guys had to go through that.  Why aren't these people in jail?  I never thought things like this could happen.  Thank you for having the courage to share your story.  You and your children are in my prayers.

[Name withheld]

WOW Bill, I just don't even know what to say... You are great, and I am
really happy that you have the boys and that they have you. I
really respect you and what you have gone through. Take Care, [Name withheld], &

ps.. the pictures said a lot about your children.

I'm glad things worked out well with your children,
and wanted to verify something you said: "CPS does lie."

[From an Attorney]

Dear William,

We are working already to get legislation introduced next session to reform some of these abusive practices by the CPS.

You would make a good legislative witness to demonstrate what is wrong with the system.

Sincerely,

[From a CPS worker]

Bill,

I am sorry those things happened to you and your children.  I can't defend it.

Your pictures are telling.

You are in my thoughts and prayers.  We (all people) benefit greatly having people like you step up to the plate and speak for the children.  Good luck, I'm sure
you will do great.
Bye for now, [Name withheld]

[From a friend]

Hey BJ,
You know I have never seen those pictures before. I cried. I'm so glad that
they are where God meant for them to be. And as I said before, I hope those
people can live with themselves. They do need our prayers!!!
The web site is great. Keep up the good work
Kisses to all
Love ya

Dear Bill,

Unbelievable journey you and your Angels have been on.  My heart breaks for what you all went through but am so happy you're all together!  I've put a link to your page on my site.

Take care,
[Name withheld]

Your web page was awesome babe and the pics of the boys were wonderful!

[Name withheld]

The words on each page of your site make people feel your pain and longing for your children...my heart broke...and I cry every time I think of the pain you had to endure....you can truly feel the pain that our father suffered.

These boys are flesh of your flesh and blood of your blood because of the love you have for them.

I don't even know what to say...I have no words that can comfort you...only a prayer and praise for a man who has endured more than most ever will.

[Name withheld]

Your site is really beautiful.
God bless you for all that you do!

[Name withheld]

Bill,

I commend you for what you did!  Know we are with you in spirit and supporting you 110% May God Smile on you.

[Name withheld]

Bill,

What you do Blesses you many times over.
You are obviously honest and caring.  That is a sad picture that the majority of the foster homes are like this.

[Name withheld]

Bill,

If more people in the adoption field were like you we wouldn't be having the problems we are.

Mr. Joslin,

It's good to know that some people are fighting for their rights and the rights of others.  D.H.S. is so intimidating to some people they forget they have rights.

[Name withheld]

Thank you so much for this website.  It is truly amazing to us this is going on in our country.  It is so scary and it makes me so sad.  God Bless you and thank you and God for bringing you into our lives!  God is Good All the Time!   "Remember, God's work is sometimes like a refining fire.  Gold Ore must go through tremendous heat before it becomes a precious metal.  And a lump of coal must undergo extreme pressure for a very long time before it becomes a diamond.  Stay focused...  your trials will one day bear fruit and become like a precious metal.  When discouraged, read  Isiah 40:  28-31.  Again , God Bless.

[Name withheld]

Bill,

You are a special person and I am so thankful God has brought you into our life.  I will continue to pray that you will be able to help many others and make a change in this world.

[Name withheld]

Bill,

I liked your website.  Its so sad and I am so sorry for you.  I am mad at cps because of this.  Thanks for making a website.

[Name withheld]

Dear Bill,

Your love and concern for your boys comes through very clearly!!!!  I want to thank you, too, for sharing your experience.  And sorry you had to go through so much.

[Name withheld]

Bill, thank you SO MUCH! Although, my son is very high functioning, I have ticked off a lot
of people in the school system with a letter I wrote to my Congressman about the poor
special needs programs in [state]. It is pretty bad.  I have experienced nasty caseworkers when I was a Foster parent and I NEVER want to have any contact with them again. Thank you SO MUCH! You have truely enlightened me.
Take Care, [Name withheld]

Dear Bill,

I've had a link to your website on my site for many months now. I can't believe all that you and your children have gone through.  What a blessing you are to these two angels of yours!

Take care,
[Name withheld]

Thanks for taking the time to share; I think your comments have been a benefit to many.

[Name withheld]

i am crying right now after seeing those picture of your children how horrible!!!!! i can only shake my head!!!!! i pray for you and your children and hope that they will remain with you so they will be safe the hrs or dcf as they are now called are the gestapo they could care less about children all they care about is themselves and that paycheck!!!!! they are cold callous and lie about everything i know ive been thru it!!! and they just will do anything to hold the parent away from the kid its because of our corrupt goverment that funds these gestapo its all about money in the end, and the worst is that you can call anomusly on anyone just because you dont like them or want to get back at your ex they should call it the free revenge line instead of the child abuse hotline!!!!! worst part is that while dcf is investigating a false complaint its keeping them from maybe saving a real abused childs life !!!!! if you can find a child abuse worker that really cares about that sort of thing!!!! good luck with that!!!! well you have had to many hardships and so have your children i pray the best for you!!! god bless you [Name withheld]

[From a U.S. Congressman]

"I am sorry that you have encountered difficulties with CPS.  Your efforts to help children are truly admirable and I applaud your work."

-Chet Edwards, Member of Congress

Mr Joslin,

I have spent the last several hours looking over you website. You work is wonderful and God will Bless you greatly for all your efforts, as he already has by giving you your two wonderful children.

My Heart goes out to you and your Children for what you have been put through at the hands of the State you are in also the hands that claim they are there to keep families together and to not seperate them. I do not believe this to be true and I can clearly see that it is not for what you have gone through.

May God continue to Bless and lead you in the directions he wants you to go.

In HIS Love,

[Name withheld]

Wow Beej

The boys look great!! and happy!!! I did browse your site and just can't believe all that you went through. What a bloody nightmare.

I'm so very glad that all finally worked out, it's just a crying shame that your family was put through that.

I am glad all is ok and very proud to see that it hasn't left you bitter.

Take care,

Bill,

I just want to say. . .thanks for being willing to talk about all of this,
and hopefully save other families from going through what you've been
through.

[From a news reporter]

Wow! You are right.  The pictures are amazing and worth more than a thousand words!  What cute little guys you have!... Thanks for sharing your story.

[Name withheld]

Dear Bill:

Thanks for all of your work. You adopted children that everyone else
seemed to want to ignore. You cared for them, loved them as a parent,
and you have made an indelible difference in their lives.
Thank you.

You've also experienced the tragedy of being at the effect of people
with high power and low integrity. I'm saddened by your experience and
how it seems to have impacted you--but I'm also encouraged by your stand
for love and compassion above all.

[Name withheld]

Of all the pages on this web site, this is one of my favorites.  These sentiments inspire me and reassure me that there is still hope for change.  I pray that nobody ever has to go through what we went through.  There is no pain worse than that of losing a child.

I will post more responses as I am able.  Thanks for your kind messages and support.
